TEKNICAL

UK
Coming from Birmingham, England, Teknical was born into the Drum and Bass scene with his father being DJ Shape. Travelling with his younger brother up and down the country, Teknical found himself sat in various studios listening to Shapes sets every week. His father then bought him his first controller for his 13th birthday and within a few months he was playing his debut set B2B with Shape on 'DnbRadio'. 6 months later he had upgraded to playing live on the famous Technic 1210s. Now at the age of 18, he regularly plays back to back 'Father & Son' sets every week on 'Bloc2Bloc Entertainment' live video stream, and weekly on 'DnbRadio'. Teknical has also recorded podcasts for the underground clothing company 'More Superior Wear' aswell as various Charity sets and house party's, and even managed to drop a 30 minute drum and bass set at a wedding.
Having listened to dnb and DJ'd live for years, the musical itch grew stronger and Teknical soon found himself looking into making his own sounds. At the time, his other passion of training Muay Thai for over 10 years took up most of the families time, with Teknical himself reaching a top level, and helping pad and spar his younger brother to reach the same levels with both brothers fighting and beating English, European, and World Champions. Breaking his pelvis in a fight (which he still won) finally gave Teknical the time to sit down and put some time into producing. After getting some of his dubs played out by some big DJs over the past year, Teknical had his first official release on the well known 'Vandal Records'
With a lifetime of musical influences and a deep pedigree in dnb, Teknical has plenty of tunes in the works. With more collabs and future projects incoming this is just the beginning of the Journey for this passionate talented and humble young artist.
IMPRESSION

USA
Growing up in the peak of the South Florida rave wave of the mid 90's, Impression decided at his first rave that he would learn to DJ. With the guidance and influence of the Brothers of Funk, he quickly saw his dream become a reality. Impression partnered with MC Direct aka RudeBoyCraig and went on to co-found the Y.O.U. Crew, which led to many years of musical exploration and growth across a multitude of genres within electronica.
Impression soon established residencies at historic venues like Respectables Street Cafe, Tilt and Atlantis and has DJ'd alongside LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Roni Size, Blame, A-Sides, Ed Rush & Optical, John B, Goldie, Random Movement, Insiders, Bachelors of Science, PFM, Aphrodite, DJ Rap, etc.
On August 13th 2003, Eric was sitting at a traffic light in broad daylight when he was caught in the crossfire of a gang-related shooting. The stray bullet was lodged in Eric's neck, but thankfully a good samaritan called 911 and he was trauma hawked to the nearest hospital almost immediately.
Through continued collaboration with the Y.O.U. Crew, Impression & Markem formed Fusion and in 2008 they launched Urban Chemistry, a label that had been the dream child of Probable-Cause and Johnny Dangerously. Under Urban Chemistry, Fusion released tracks with DnB greats like Stunna, Submorphics, Command Strange, Subsonik, Mutt, Qumulus, Notion, Broken Drum, RudeBoyCraig and MC Fava.
In a whirlwind of events, Fusion also started their weekly Sunday Bassdrive show, Lab Sessions, in 2008. Markem moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and for several years the two took turns hosting their Bassdrive show until Markem left the show in 2014. In 2015 they decided not to continue with the label, but they do make music as individual artists to this day. Lab Sessions recently celebrated its Twelve Year Anniversary, and Impression has carried the torch to St. Augustine, Florida, America’s oldest city. Now in 2020 Impression has found his sound and is releasing tunes from FX909 Music, Soul Deep & Liquid Drops Recordings. So keep a look out for his smooth drum and bass releases, as he would say.
JAZZINSPIRED

USA
JazzInspired, a drum n bass producer and DJ grew up in Houston, Texas (USA). His life was forever changed when he was introduced to the underground warehouse scene in the mid-’90s. He started DJing and eventually started playing at local clubs and venues. In 99’ JazzInspired’s aka Dj Soultrain at the time, played the biggest party Houston has ever seen.
In 2000, Jazz started producing under another producer name DazRight. Nothing came about of it. During that time, he ran into Bukem before a show in Houston and handed him a demo. Danny replied to JazzInspired through AOL messenger, words of encouragement to keep producing but the music wasn’t a good fit for his label.
Fast forward to 2019, life took a toll, and JazzInspired had to give up what he loved for over a decade. The love of the music was too strong to allow all the time and effort to fade away. He got back on the grind and in a short amount of time was able to establish himself as an artist, again.
JazzInspired brings to the world music that has influences of Jazz, Soul, Jungle, Dub, and many other eclectic mixes of sounds. He's established himself as a liquid drum n bass producer on labels such as Soul Deep, Smooth and Groove, Sheer Velocity Recordings, Liquid Drops Rec, DNBB records, Liquid Flavours, Liquid Brilliant, Red Sun Records, and now has joined FX909 MUSIC. As he always said,” it’s not how fast you run the race, it's that you never give up! ” Expect big thing from this artist as his journey has only begun!
