Parisian FX909 MUSIC label is back with a three-track EP. Packed with dreamy, melodic and atmospheric music, the word spacious is definitely appropriate here. The american duo IMPRESSION and MARKEM provides spacey synths, pitched vocals and electronic bass grooves via "Mystic Times" for the good of any dancefloor.
"Give Me Love" is the track you might expect from FX909 and his futuristic style of melodic deep DnB while "Vacuity" had the slinky and hypnotic mood music you need in your DJ box.

FX909 loves diversity and the effort put in is evident with GONE EP. Four-tracker that starts off with DOWN and its heavy bass supported by filtered chords that don't let up for one second. GONE combines classic liquid stab with wobblier sounds, adding more of FX909 signature than ever. PRETENCE has been fine-tuned to deliver something special, spacey chords designs, nasty sub bass pressures and a highly energetic rhythm for an eerie adventure. No time for calming down with SLOWLY, a sweet pad and a 808 bass send you again into completely new territory. FX909 hits the spot and provide a good level of differentiation from his usuals releases onto other imprints. Tasteful!

No sleep for FX909 and his imprint. It gets darker this time, delivering a tonne of weight to the low end and more sub-bass than you could expect. 'SHIBARI' gives a strong syncopated beat playing with a heavy bassline, the kind of vibe you will love to drop in the middle of your DJ set. 'UNCANNY VALLEY' is looking back into the past and bring back a sub-heavy steppers destined to cause serious amounts of damage. 'REFLECTION' is flowing with a hazy feels and a solid rolling bass. 'NO HERO' and his trippy vibe gives a final touch of variation to round off another nice body of work from FX909. He had promised surprising releases on his label, there are no others like that in his discography for sure.

When FX909 asks Greek super soldier MSDOS to make a remix, you know he will come with some solid materials. It's fair to say MSDOS and his science of melody and love of liquid rhythms make some magic here. 'WHEN YOU DRAW' remix is running deep but with the intensity you can expect from a strong liquid / atmospheric cut. With 'UNDER CONTROL' remix, FX909 bring back the sun-bright chords and the focus is fully on the floor, a straight-up D&B roller that should appease DJs and dancers alike.

For the fourth release on his label, FX9090 kicks starts a remix serie. He has invited the French PEYO and the Mexican VIEWER, both do a fine job. Taking the sound deeper while dropping some abstract techy vibes, PEYO delivers a mesmerising reshape of MELTDOWN.
VIEWER opts for some classic liquid vibes with STAY FOCUS. Revolving around a rolling breakbeat and a sweet bassline, he is delivering an efficient track for any dancefloor.

The third release onto FX909 MUSIC sees the light of day. The new offering that FX909 have put on the table is shaping a unique soundscape with jazz flavors. Powerful but delicate, 'Meltdown' is built on a simple jazzy chords pattern above a rolling beats, while the bassline creates some serious havoc on the dance-floor. A DJ tool at its best. 'Glitch' prolongs that vibe into a subtle swing, providing the ear candy you need for an elegant jazzy atmosphere. FX909 has succeeded in crafting an EP that is undeniably his own. Enjoyable and essential.

Second release for FX909's label. The man pays homage to the legacy of his early works and drops an EP with some atmospheric drum and bass influences. The heavy first track 'Meraki' and his technoid synth arpeggio is doing it in style. 'My little star' and his rolling beat is built around a sweet piano melody and a positive feels in the synths and chords while 'All the time' take up a different approache with a melancholic vocal that rest above the drums and the pads. Closing the EP, 'When you draw' injects a splash of deepness with class. Atmo is the theme throughout that solid release and FX909 is holding up that standard. He slowly draws the contours of its label, showing his true contrasts and his skills without compromise.

Fresh from fine outings on SOUL DEEP among others, FX909 pops up now on his own label. Each track of this first release has this funky, stepping feel to it and there are some golden era liquid funk touches. This is obvious from the first tune. 'Forward' carries an amen break and a huge sub bass that will undoubtedly give no chance to any dancefloor. 'Caramel' track just rolls out with a wicked pad and some LFO business that takes you on a tour when 'Stay Focus' brings bright light synths and piano vibes for a perfect combination. Finally, classic old school liquid vibes abound on 'Under Control' with a rolling drum line and some jazzy key rhodes. All blending together, these tracks make this EP an all-round must-listen for those who like their liquid funk dancefloor friendly.
